Tight finish in store at Ladies Masters

The Australian Ladies Masters is poised for a tense finish with a three-way tie for the lead at the end of the third round.

English pair Charley Hull and Holly Clyburn are level with Korea’s Eun Woo Choi on four-under-par going into Sunday’s final round at Royal Pines.

Overnight leader Rebecca Artis, who started her round with a three shot lead, had a horror day, shooting a six-over par 79 to fall back to a tie for fourth with Norway’s Tonje Daffinrud and Victoria’s Su Oh at three-over.

Choi and tournament favourite Hull failed to take a stranglehold on the tournament as players battled two-paced greens and gusty winds.

Hull, who begun her round with a double bogey, ended with a two-over 75 with a birdie on the par-five 18th putting her into a share of the lead.

Choi triple bogeyed the par-four second and also had to settle with a two-over 75 on the day.

Daffinrud and Oh were two of the rare players to have under-par rounds, both shooting one-under 72s to remain firmly in contention.

Three more players, including Queensland amateur Rebecca Kay are a further shot back at two-under in a tie for seventh to leave the tournament wide open.
