Scott begins Aust PGA title quest

Adam Scott has teed off in his final round of the Australian PGA Championship at Royal Pines on the Gold Coast.

The world No.3 is chasing back-to-back championships and has started Sunday’s action in a share of the lead with South Australia’s Wade Ormsby and Western Australia’s Scott Strange on 10-under-par.

American Boo Weekley has made par on his first hole and remains one shot behind the leaders on nine-under.

West Australia’s Jason Scrivener, who had started the day one shot off the lead, bogeyed the first and is back to eight-under.

Jun Seok Lee is the big mover so far in the final round, making birdie in four of his first six holes to move to seven-under.

PGA Tour winner John Senden (-4) made a bright start with four birdies in his opening five holes but back-to-back bogeys have halted his charge.
