A four-under-par 68 has moved Australia’s Minjee Lee into prime position to secure her card on the LPGA in 2015.

Lee, who started the third round in a tie for 32nd position signed for a bogey free 68 to move into a share of 11th spot at four-under-par.

With 36 holes left in the 2014 LPGA Qualifying tournament being played at the LPGA International Golf Course in Daytona Beach Florida, the Perth golfer has played herself into a great position.

The top 20 players at the end of the 90 hole tournament secure a full card for 2015, while players that finish 21-45 receive a conditional card.

“Today was pretty good, I started off well. I birdied the first hole, so I was like maybe I can put it together today,” Lee said.

Lee, who started on the 10th and rolled in a birdie putt on her last, the ninth hole, was pleased with her finish.

“It just gives you good momentum going into the next day obviously, so, yeah, it was really nice, it was a long putt too,” Lee said.

There are two other Australians currently in the top 45, the young Victorian professional Su Oh, who posted a two-over-par on the Hills course to be at one-under-par and tied for 34th position.

NSW Emma de Groot (71) is just one shot further back and tied for 40th.

WA’s Jayde Panos made a move in the right direction in the third round.

Panos posted a 71 to move up 21 places, she is now tied for 60th at two-over-par.

A cut will be made to the top 70 players and ties after the fourth round.

NSW player Rebecca Artis (72) and Victorian Breanna Elliott (75) both sit just outside the top 70, they are both tied for 78th at four-over-par.

Unfortunately, Maggie Yuan had a four-over-par 76 to fall into a share of 102nd place at six over.

Yuan, along with Julia Boland, and Stacey Keating have work to do to make the cut.

Boland (73) is currently in 111th place, while Keating is well back in a tie for 134th.

Currently leading the tournament is world No.25 Ha Na Hong.

After getting off to a slow start with a 74, the South Korean golfer has followed up with impressive rounds of 65 and 66 to sit atop of the leaderboard at 11-under-par.

She is three clear of fellow compatriot Ju Young Park (73), American amateur Alison Lee (67) and Chinese player Simin Feng (67).

Tied fifth at seven-under-par is the second round leader American Casey Grice (74) and Germany’s Sophia Popov.
