Australian golfing great and British Open winner Kel Nagle has died, aged 94.
His family issued a statement saying that he passed away in no pain at 1.30am on Thursday at Sydney’s Mona Vale hospital.
Nagle won the Open in 1960 at the age of 39, his only major victory.
He had a lengthy and successful professional career winning tournaments across the globe in every year from 1949 to 1975.
