Tattersall’s Tiara Day is one of the highlights of the Brisbane Winter Racing Carnival, taking place this year on Saturday the 21st of June, 2014. There is over $1 million in prize money up for grabs on the day, including a $500,000 prize pool for the Group 1 Tattersall’s Tiara. Held at Eagle Farm Racecourse, this is a great winter day of thoroughbred racing.

The Group 1 Tattersall’s Tiara for fillies and mares is the highlight of the day, with other notable events including the Group 3 Tattersall’s Cup and Group 3 WJ Healy Stakes. Gates open at 10.30AM, with the first race taking place at 12.10PM and the last event at 4.14PM.

Along with the racing, there is also lots of other attractions taking place on the day, including a Fashions on the Field competition hosted by 97.3 FM Breakfast Radio host Robin Bailey and judged by a panel of fashion industry professionals. Racegoers will also have the chance to win a Diamond, with an 18ct white gold diamond pendant valued at $8,480 from Hardy Brothers Jewellers up for grabs.
Tattersall’s Tiara Day is the last day of thoroughbred racing on the Brisbane Winter calendar, and there will be lots of chances for members and guests to celebrate. Live music and roving entertainers are set to please the crowd throughout the day, with race day patrons also able to choose from a range of dining and hospitality options. General admission tickets for Tattersall’s Tiara Day are just $15, with students and seniors tickets available for just $8 and children and pensioners free.
