Smith brings up ton in World Cup semi

Steve Smith has brought up his century to put Australia in a commanding position in their Cricket World Cup semi-final against India at the SCG.

But, Smith was dismissed for 105 off the bowling of Umesh Yadav in the 35th over with the home team at 2-197.

Smith brought up his first ton of the tournament in style, dragging Mohammed Shami to deep backward square for four.

It took him 89 balls to reach his century which included 10 fours and two sixes.

After losing David Warner (12) in the fourth over, Smith and Aaron Finch (73) had the Australians in a good position after 34 overs.
