Michael Clarke has been ruled out of the tour game he was slated to play on Friday.
Clarke, recovering from a third hamstring setback since August, was set to turn out for a Cricket Australia XI against India at Adelaide Oval.
But Clarke confirmed on Monday afternoon that he will not be fit enough for that match, placing his position in the Test squad in doubt.
