Bravo re-signs with Renegades for Big Bash

West Indian all-rounder Dwayne Bravo has re-signed with the Melbourne Renegades for the upcoming domestic Twenty20 competition.

Bravo played two matches for the franchise last season and said he was excited to link with the side for the 2014-15 Big Bash League.

“I’ve always had a great relationship with Melbourne as a city and although it was a short stint in BBL03, I had a great time with the Melbourne Renegades. I’m really excited about linking up with the team again this season,” he said.

“The Renegades have added a strong mix of talent in the off season which is really important in this format.”

Bravo averaged 42.5 and took three wickets with an economy rate of 5.75 during the 2013-14 season.

He joins former Australian wicketkeeper Matthew Wade, Callum Ferguson and New Zealand international Jesse Ryder in signing with the franchise.
