St Kilda have re-signed veteran defender Sean Dempster for the 2016 AFL season.

Dempster, who last week played his 200th AFL game, is the latest senior player to recommit to the club.

The 31-year-old, who last year won the club’s best and fairest for the third time, said he was excited about the future with the Saints.

“We have a lot of quality young players coming through and I’m thrilled to be part of the group for at least another year,” Dempster said.
