Sandilands accepts one-match AFL ban

Fremantle ruckman Aaron Sandilands will miss the round-one AFL clash against the Western Bulldogs after accepting a one-match ban for engaging in rough conduct.

Sandilands risked being hit with a two-game sanction had he unsuccessfully contested the report from an incident involving Richmond’s Ben Griffiths in the opening round of the NAB Challenge.

Sandilands will be eligible to return for the Dockers’ round-two home clash against Gold Coast on April 2.
