Essendon duo David Zaharakis and Mark Jamar will miss Sunday’s AFL match against Essendon after accepting one-match AFL bans for striking.
Zaharakis was booked for striking West Coast youngster Jackson Nelson in the stomach, while Jamar was cited for his elbow to the face of Jeremy McGovern during last Thursday night’s match at Domain Stadium.
Jamar also strained a hamstring in the 78-point loss.
The tribunal will not sit on Tuesday night after all players charged during round 15 submitted early guilty pleas.
