North Melbourne young gun Aaron Mullett has re-signed with the AFL club until 2017.

The 23-year-old half-back has been hampered by injury in 2015, with a shoulder problem and hamstring strain limiting him to just three games this season.

Mullett said he was keen to repay the club’s faith in him to get back to his best.

“We’re close to something big here and all the boys know that, we just need to put in the work,” he said.

“That’s something that I’ve wanted to be a part of, so it was easy for me to sign on.”
