Premiership contenders Collingwood has suspended star midfielder Dane Swan
for the next two matches following a boozy night out on Sunday night.
Swan, 28 was reportadly challenged over his condition by a fellow team-mate on training on Monday and a subsequent meeting was held later on by senior coach Nathan Buckley and at least two other members of the playing group.
Reportadly following the meeting the club decided to impose a two match suspension on Swan with the 28-year-old set to miss the vital encounters against ladder leaders Sydney and in the form North Melbourne.

d admitted to going out but only drinking water.
Only recently the Magpies playing group pledged to refain from drinking alcohol until the conclusion of their season, which they hoped would yieled them their second premiership success in the last three years.
However this latest drama throughs a massive dent in their plans as they head towards the finals.
