Gold Coast coach Rodney Eade is expecting more attempts from Brisbane to agitate his AFL players, foreshadowing another spiteful Q-Clash this weekend.
The Suns, fresh from a drought-breaking win last weekend over St Kilda, host the Lions on Saturday afternoon at Metricon Stadium – their first meeting since their infamous round-four clash, in which Steven May was suspended for a head-high bump on Brisbane ruckman Stefan Martin.
“Last time they tried to agitate some players and that’s fine, that’s part of the game and we’ve got to be able to cope with that,” Eade told reporters on Thursday.
