Brisbane may need a priority draft pick, but Lions coach Justin Leppitsch won’t be throwing in the towel for the remainder of this year’s AFL campaign.

The Lions take on Carlton this Saturday at the Gabba in a clash that will almost certainly decide the destination of this year’s wooden spoon.

But Leppitsch says tanking to gain optimum draft picks is not an option at his club and they’ll be doing all they can to avoid the ignomy of a last-placed finish.
