Brisbane coach Justin Leppitsch is hopeful captain Tom Rockliff will make his return from a serious rib injury in Sunday’s AFL clash against West Coast.

The winless Lions have been without their skipper since he broke ribs and punctured a lung during a heavy collision in their season opener against Collingwood.

But Leppitsch says Rockliff has been looking good in training and will be given every chance to prove his fitness before the Gabba clash against the Eagles.
