Jack Riewoldt unsure about Rance’s plans

Richmond star Jack Riewoldt is none the wiser when it comes to Alex Rance’s plans for 2016.

Rance’s future has been a subject of much interest this season, with reports suggesting the 25-year-old is weighing up whether to continue playing AFL.

Rance comes off contract at the end of the season and is one of the form defenders of the competition.

“I’m not too sure to be perfectly honest,” Riewoldt told Seven’s Game Day, when asked whether Rance will be running around with the Tigers in 2016.

“It’s obviously going to pan out over the back end of the season.

“But at the moment he’s 110 per cent involved in the football club and you can see that with the emotional buy-in he’s got with the guys.”

Rance capped an impressive 2014 season by being selected in the All-Australian side.

Riewoldt hadn’t noticed any signs that Rance was discontented or disgruntled.

“The way he’s been handling himself around the football club certainly leads me to the fact he’s loving his time at the moment,” Riewoldt said.
