Hawthorn coach Alastair Clarkson says his AFL side has become accustomed to confronting a rival with in-depth knowledge of the Hawks.
The Hawks face Carlton in Launceston on Saturday, pitting Clarkson against former right-hand man Brendon Bolton.
Clarkson says coaches and players shift clubs regularly and that most teams have an idea of how triple reigning premiers Hawthorn want to play.
