Hawks’ James Sicily cops one-match AFL ban

Hawthorn could be without young forward James Sicily for their big clash against North Melbourne after he was slapped with a one-match ban by the AFL’s match review panel.

The 21-year-old was charged with striking Melbourne’s Bernie Vince in Saturday’s upset loss to the Demons at the MCG.

In better news for the reigning premiers, important onballer Sam Mitchell is free to play after he was cleared of any wrongdoing for his part in a scuffle with Jack Watts.
