Melbourne have brokered two deals late on the second last day of AFL trade period, recruiting Tomas Bugg and offloading Jack Fitzpatrick to Hawthorn.
The Demons gave up draft selections No.10, No.43 and No.64 to gain pick No.7 and Bugg, a combative midfielder who played 65 games with Greater Western Sydney.
Hawthorn let go of pick No.94 to sign up Fitzpatrick, the 24-year-old forward who was delisted last month by the Demons.
