Fremantle Dockers vs Sydney Swans AFL 2014 Grand Final say punters

Punters with online bookmaker sportsbet.com.au are convinced that it will be a Fremantle/ Sydney Grand Final, so it will come as no surprise that players from the two top teams have been given the best odds to win the Norm Smith Medal.

Despite the Grand Final being over two months away, Sportsbet have opened markets on the Norm Smith Medal for the top 10 teams, with Josh Kennedy and Nat Fyfe both priced at $10.

Given he has performed on the big stage more than once, Buddy Franklin also looks a decent bet at $11 while the same can’t be said for fellow goal kicker Travis Cloke who is struggling with form, priced at $251 to be the best player during the biggest game of the year.

With both teams flying, a Fremantle/Sydney Grand Final is priced at $4.00, with Sportsbet taking more bets on that quinella than another other combination put together.

“Punters keep backing a Fremantle/Sydney Grand Final so we fully expect the likes of Kennedy, Fyfe and Franklin to be the popular ones in the Norm Smith market. But there is plenty of value in some of the Cats and Hawks players if punters think they can sneak into the Grand Final,” said sportsbet.com.au’s Shaun Anderson.
