Docker Tendai Mzungu re-signs with Freo

Fremantle utility Tendai Mzungu has re-signed with the Dockers until the end of the 2016 AFL season.

Mzungu, who turned 29 on Saturday, has played 86 games for the Dockers since being snared as a mature-age player at the 2010 national draft.

“A lot of players have gone on record saying what good elite culture and standards we have developed here over time,” Mzungu said.

“To be a part of that for another year, I’m thrilled.

“Being a Perth boy, there’s always a want to stay here.

“It’s the club that drafted me and I really think we have a bright future here at Fremantle.”

Mzungu became the second player this week to re-sign with Fremantle after defender Zac Dawson committed until the end of 2017.
