Docker Nat Fyfe suffers AFL injury scare

Star Fremantle midfielder Nat Fyfe has sent an injury scare through the camp after leaving the training track early on Friday with an apparent hamstring issue.

Fyfe reportedly pulled up gingerly after stretching for a mark during match simulation training.

The 23-year-old left the track favouring his left leg and failed to reappear, sparking fears he had suffered an injury.

Fyfe’s pre-season was already disrupted after he injured his shoulder last November while preparing for Australia’s International Rules clash with Ireland.

The 2014 All-Australian has become one of Fremantle’s most-important players, and the Dockers will be hoping his training setback is only very minor.
