GWS Giants co-captain Phil Davis is in line to return from a hamstring injury to face his former AFL club Adelaide, but two other defenders are expected to miss Saturday’s game.

Tim Mohr will miss up to five matches with a hamstring problem and Matt Buntine is unlikely to play this week due to concussion, but Davis has trained well and is poised to return from the injury which has prevented him playing since round seven.

“If there’s any risk with him we’re not going to take it and he won’t play, but right now you’d have to say he’s a better chance of playing,” Giants’ coach Leon Cameron said on Wednesday.
