Travis Cloke has reportedly told Collingwood he wants to start afresh at a new AFL club.

Speculation Cloke will be on the move has been rife for weeks after the out-of-favour forward managed just 13 games this season and was dropped back to the VFL by coach Nathan Buckley three times.

The 29-year-old has a year left on his current contract, but his manager is believed to have informed the club on Tuesday of his desire to be traded after 246 senior appearances for the Pies.
