Carlton skipper still hobbled by injury

Carlton skipper Marc Murphy is in danger of missing the rest of the AFL season due to the ankle injury he suffered in round 10.

Murphy was expected to miss about three weeks over the high ankle sprain from the Blues’ upset win over Geelong, but he continues to be hampered by the injury and won’t play against Brisbane on Saturday.

Carlton coach Brendon Bolton remains hopeful Murphy will return before the end of the season, and says it’s been a frustrating period for his captain.
