Bulldog Morris accepts AFL suspension

Western Bulldogs defender Dale Morris has accepted a one-match AFL suspension for tripping.

Morris was cited for tripping Greater Western Sydney’s Will Hoskin-Elliott in Saturday’s match.

The veteran Bulldog accepted the ban after being charged with a level-three tripping offence from the Dogs’ win in Canberra.

The AFL match review panel gave Morris a two-game suspension, but his previous good record ensured he could reduce his ban to one match with an early guilty plea.

He will miss his side’s match against struggling Carlton at Etihad Stadium on Sunday.
