AFL’s Wood, Johnson re-sign with Blues

Carlton rookies Cameron Wood and Blaine Johnson have re-signed with the AFL club.

Wood has recommitted for another two years, while forward Johnson has agreed to a new one-year contract.

Both players made their debut for the Blues this year after long-term injuries hit the senior list.

Ruckman Wood debuted for the club in a round 18 clash with North Melbourne, notching up six games in total.

Meanwhile, 19-year-old Johnson played five games after debuting in the Blues’ round 15 match with Collingwood.
