The Magpies & Suns can start planning their footy trips according to the betting with online bookmaker sportsbet.
With both teams suffering upset losses over the weekend, they are now outsiders to make the 8, with Collingwood drifting from $1.70 to $2.35 and Gold Coast out from $2.55 to $6.00.
Collingwood’s loss yesterday would have been particularly hard to take for one punter, who has bet $20,000 on the Pies to make the finals, while another will also be keeping an eye on the rest of their season, betting $10,000 that they will be there in September.
To make things even worse for Pies fans, they were as short as $1.05 to make the finals in early June, while the Suns were $1.25 prior to Gary Ablett’s injury.
