2012 AFL Round 20 preview – Adelaide Crows vs Fremantle Dockers

Saturday 11th August.

Fremantle head to Adeliade with five consecutive victories under their belt, the latest of which was a resounding 65 point win over arch rivals, West Coast.

The Dockers sit precariously in ninth position (on percentages) on 44 points, equal with Essendon and North who face off with each other later in the round.

A win for the Dockers is a must to keep in touch with the top eight with only four games in the regular season left but Adelaide at home, is a task only one team (Collingwood) has been able to overcome all year.

Adelaide are 8-1 at home this season and displayed last week, with a come-from-behind four point win over the Bombers, why they are a leading contender for the flag.

Sportsbet posted Adelaide $1.45 – Fremantle $2.95 on Wednesday.

Whilst honours are split between the two teams over their last four encounters, it’s too hard to go past Adelaide at home and the $2.15 to win 1-39 looking the best option.
