THE EAGLES’ form has fluctuated wildly over the past few seasons, but one constant is that they have pulverised Melbourne at every opportunity. The last three wins over the Demons have been by 93 points or more, they haven’t lost to Melbourne since 2009 and the Demons have not beaten the Eagles at Patersons Stadium since 2002 when Neale Daniher coached them to a semi-final appearance. West Coast has kicked 100 points or more eight times this season, while Melbourne is yet to kick 100 points in a game in 2014.
